Order Confirmation:

 

As soon as you place your order, you will receive an order confirmation e-mail.  This means that we have received your order in our system and pre-authorized your credit card for the purchase.  As soon as we receive your order, we automatically reach out to our suppliers to confirm that it is in stock and available for immediate shipment.  If your item is on backorder or unavailable, we will void the pre-authorization and reach out to you via e-mail.  If your item(s) are available for immediate shipment (within 5 business days), we will process the charges and submit the order for shipment.

 

Order Shipment:

 

If your order is stock and we process the charges to your credit card, it will ship within 3-5 business days from the date of your order.  We will send you tracking information within 24 hours of your order leaving the warehouse to the e-mail address you provide when checking out.  If you do not receive tracking information from us within six business days of your order, feel free to follow up with us at sales@elegantwaterfeatures.com

 

Important Information About Shipping:

 

We always send a forklift at delivery when we send an LTL order to a residence. All of our LTL shipments are curbside deliveries and the client is responsible to bring the item from their curb to their home.  

 

We DO offer white glove delivery for our larger items, which will then allow the fountain to be taken inside and placed where you (the Buyer) wants. This also includes the removal of all of the packaging. The service DOES NOT install or assemble the fountain. This service is an additional cost starting at  $180.00, depending on where it is going, if there are stairs or elevator or any other obstacles.

 

If you require white glove delivery please send an email to sales@elegantwaterfeatures.com and let us know where the fountain is going in your home or business, how many stairs are required from the lower level to final placement level, and we will send you a quote.  

 

For smaller items such as Gardenfalls, even though they ship on a pallet they come in two boxes and you (the Buyer) will be able to remove each box from the pallet and carry them inside with maybe the help of another person.

Damages:

 

Our products are packed with great care and protective materials and slight package damage usually does not affect the product. However, in cases like this, we suggest that if there is time to open the shipment in front of the driver you may find that the product is in perfect condition. In the event the driver is not able to stay on the delivery site during the inspection of the water feature, you (the Buyer) must note on all freight bill -  “Driver would not wait, pending inspection, there may be concealed damage” so you are covered for concealed damages. Claims for all freight damage must be reported to Elegant Water Features within 24 hours of delivery so that a claim can be filed with the manufacturer within 48 hours of delivery.  Send your claim with photos to returns@elegantwaterfeatures.com and we will start the claim on your behalf. 

 

DO NOT refuse or attempt to return a damage product without first contacting Elegant Water Feature by email.  Returned products will not be accepted unless (i) prior written permission from Elegant Water Features and issued a Returned Merchandise Authorization ("RMA"); (ii) Buyer clearly marks the RMA number on the bill of lading (returns will be refused without a clearly visible RMA number on the bill of lading-PLEASE DO NOT WRITE ON THE CARTONS); (iii) The manufacturer receives such returned product(s) within thirty (30) days after receipt of the products by or on behalf of Elegant Water Features. Without exception, no merchandise will be accepted without an RMA from the manufacturer. The return of merchandise without a RMA could result in additional costs to the Buyer. The manufacturer reserves the right to authorize product returns beyond thirty (30) days from the invoice date, upon written approval.

 

Returns:

 

Due to the abuse of this manufacturer’s previous customer remorse policy, they will no longer accept returns for this reason. When returns were made they were either not packed properly, damaged, packaging destroyed, and parts missing (any or all of these).

 

All sales are final and no returns are accepted except for the following:  a. Incorrect shipping of product by the manufacturer for which a replacement will be sentb. Defective product - A product must be diagnosed defective by the manufacturer. Photographic evidence must be provided and the decision is final. The manufacturer has the right to repair or replace the fountain at their discretion and refunds will not be made for this reason.  c. Freight damage - a replacement fountain will be resent.  

 

No returns will be accepted unless processed first through Elegant Water Features' process and then through the manufacturer. Call tags (shipping label) and RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) will be issued only for reasons as noted above. All other attempted returns will be refused. Any exceptions to the above will be handled on a case by case basis and we will do our best to satisfy our clients within reason.   If an RMA is issued, it will be valid for 15 days and the fountain must be returned within that time frame.  Replacements for returns are invoiced at the full value and a credit will be issued once the manufacturer has received and inspected per our policy on the condition of the return. 

 

Cancelled  or Refused Orders:

 

Cancellations must be requested within 24 hours of purchase (not within 24 hours of credit card being charged) in order to receive a full refund.  If your order has shipped, you (the buyer) will be responsible for return shipping charges, as well as the cost of the original shipment.  The return will also be subject to a 20% restocking fee.  The product must be returned in its original unopened carton and in resalable condition (including the condition of the box).  If the order was paid by credit card an additional charge of 3% will apply.  If you would like to process a cancellation, please email returns@elegantwaterfeatures.com. 

 

Warranty:

Our fountain products are warranted for a period of six months against defects in finish, pumps and other product performance issues.  Light bulbs are not warranted.  Our experience has shown that in practically 100% of incidents that any defect is apparent within a week of installation and use.  Appearance defects should be noticed upon unpacking the fountain. We have found that finishes have ‘failed’ due to poor maintenance, local water conditions with minerals affecting the finish, attempts to clean with harsh chemicals or abrasive pads being used.   Performance of water flow, spitting, and other ‘leaks’, are usually caused by debris getting into the fountain, buildup of minerals, algae from poor water or lack of maintenance. Pumps can also fail due to water levels not being maintained in the reservoir and this is not covered by the warranty.  Elegant Water Features will not be responsible for the installation, labor or any other costs or expenses related to the reinstallation of a warranted part and such expenses are not covered by this warranty. 

 

Manufacturers Defect Defined - A distinct and obvious flaw in the manufacturing of the product that inhibits the product’s ability to function properly or a distinct and obvious flaw in the workmanship of the product that affects its physical appearance. These water features are manufactured under generally accepted manufacturing techniques as recognized by the International Organization of Standardization.  These products are handmade and hand finished thus minor scratches in materials within accepted ranges are not considered defects.  Pumps and lights not working are not manufacture defects and will be replaced if they fail within the 6 month warranty period. 

 

Slate- Many of the products contain natural slate. Slate can vary to a large degree and that individuality is what is considered to be unique and inherent to the beauty of the natural product as no two are exactly alike. Photos in the marketing materials are representative of the slate products but should not be relied on to duplicate the photo. Natural mined slate is used in these products.  Personal taste in the appearance of slate is not considered a reason for a return. 

 

Mirrors - Tempered mirrors are used in the water features for safety reasons and the process of tempering the mirror may cause the mirrors not to reflect images in the same manner of a non-tempered mirror which is designed to reflect images in their true form. When water is flowing over our tempered mirror surfaces, these slight differences are not noticeable and this is not considered a reason for a return.  

 

Copper- Since there are numerous products manufactured with natural pure copper it is important to note that the manufacturer does protect the copper with a clear heat-baked on powder coat material. This material should last for a minimum of one year but water conditions may affect the length of protection it will afford to the copper. Copper oxidizes differently than other metals and personal tastes differ as to an individual’s perception of it. It may oxidize as a green oxidation or rose colored blush. You can minimize this by wiping down the oxidation and then applying wax or Pledge™ to that area. This condition is not a reason for a return or warranty claim.
